Outlander for solo snare drum and electronics is a sort of quasi-mini-concerto meant for completely solo snare drum playing without the need for an orchestra, but still providing an orchestral backing track for the sonic world. The harmonic and textural pallet allows for a more accessible listening experience while still allowing the performance to be in small spaces and more intimate performance settings.
