Samurai (Drumline Cadence)
Samurai is a drumline cadence that I wrote for J.L. Mann High School in Greenville, SC. The insturmentation provided below is what is the bare minimum; for example, only three (4) tonal bass drums are required for the split part, but a full line of five (5) is ideal. This intermediate street beat also includes a mallet feature for your pit or bell kit players!
Instrumentation:
1+ Snare
1+ Tenors (1 spock)
4+ Basses
2+ Cymbals
1+ Mallets
