Bloom for horn duet
Bloom is a journey of growth and development, meant to be invocative of the season of spring, with flowers blooming and growing around you. The piece itself develops a theme from two notes to a whole melody using similar melodic and intervallic material throughout. The material grows and changes as the piece goes on, similar to spring, and representative of people's growth and change with time.
